1. General provisions

These Terms of Use (hereinafter: "Terms") govern the use of the website madebyverge.com (hereinafter: the "Site") and the relationship between the Site owner and visitors, users or clients (hereinafter: "you", "your", "user").

Acceptance of the Terms

By using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Site.

Verge reserves the right to amend the Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Site.

2. Site content

On the Site, Verge presents information about services for building websites, web applications, digital solutions, hosting, maintenance and related services.

All information on the Site (prices, packages, service descriptions, delivery times) is informational in nature and does not constitute a binding offer. A specific offer is provided to the Client in writing after consultations and an assessment of the project scope.

Verge reserves the right to change prices, packages and service terms at any time, without prior notice.

3. Use of the Site

3.1. Permitted use

You may use the Site to:

Browse information about services
Send inquiries through the contact form
Book a consultation
Communicate with Verge for the purpose of a business arrangement

3.2. Prohibited use

The following is strictly prohibited:

Using the Site for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
Attempting unauthorized access to the server, database or other systems
Sending viruses, malware or harmful code
Collecting data from the Site with automated tools (scraping) without written consent
Impersonation
Copying, reproducing or distributing the Site's content without permission
Using the Site in a way that could damage, disable or overload the Site

Verge reserves the right to block access to the Site for users who violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual property

4.1. Site content

All content on the Site — including texts, design, logo, graphics, photographs, code, structure and Verge brand elements — is the property of Verge — Digital Studio and is protected by Croatian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

Without Verge's prior written consent, it is prohibited to:

Copy, reproduce or modify
Distribute, publicly display or transmit
Use the content for commercial purposes

4.2. Name and logo

The name "Verge", "Verge — Digital Studio", the logo and accompanying visual identity are protected marks of the company. Use without permission is not allowed.

4.3. Display of client work

Images, screenshots and project descriptions in the "Work" section are shown with the clients' permission (where applicable) or as concept projects owned by Verge. Reproduction is not allowed without permission.

5. Inquiries and communication

By sending an inquiry via the contact form, email or phone:

You consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate
You understand that sending an inquiry does not constitute a contract — a contract is concluded only after a mutual agreement and signing of an offer

Verge undertakes to respond to inquiries within a reasonable time — usually within 24 hours on business days.

6. Limitation of liability

6.1. Accuracy of information

Verge strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all information on the Site, but does not guarantee the complete accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content. The user uses the Site at their own risk.

6.2. Technical interruptions

Verge is not liable for:

Temporary unavailability of the Site for technical reasons
Damage caused by interruption of the service
Problems caused by your internet provider or device

6.3. External links

The Site may contain links to external sites. Verge is not responsible for the content, availability or privacy policy of external sites.

6.4. Indirect and consequential damage

To the extent permitted by law, Verge is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the Site (including lost profit, data or business opportunities).

6.5. Limitation for the business relationship

Verge's liability in connection with a specific project (a contract for building a website, application, etc.) is governed by a separate service contract, which takes precedence over these Terms in everything relating to the specific work.

7. Protection of personal data

The processing of users' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

8. Cookies

The use of cookies on the Site is governed by the Cookie Policy.

9. Dispute resolution

9.1. Amicable resolution

We first seek to resolve all disputes arising from the use of the Site or the business relationship with Verge amicably, through direct communication.

9.2. Jurisdiction

If amicable resolution is not possible, Croatian law applies to all disputes, and the competent court is the materially competent court in Croatia according to the registered seat of the business owner.

9.3. Consumer disputes

If you are a natural person acting as a consumer, you have the right to:

10. Updates to the Terms

Verge reserves the right to amend these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes means acceptance of the new Terms.
