Cookie Policy

Version: 1.1 · Date: 13 Sep 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit.

Cookies allow the site to recognize your device, remember your settings and collect statistical data about how the site is used. On their own they contain no personal information, but combined with other data they can identify a user.

2. Why we use cookies

Verge — Digital Studio uses cookies on its website for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring the site functions properly
  • Remembering your settings (language, contrast)
  • Statistical analysis of traffic and user behavior
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Improving the user experience

3. Types of cookies we use

We classify cookies by duration, origin and purpose.

3.1. By duration

TypeDescription
Session cookiesDeleted automatically when you close your browser
Persistent cookiesRemain on your device until they expire or you delete them manually

3.2. By origin

TypeDescription
First-party cookiesSet directly by our site
Third-party cookiesSet by external services we use (e.g. Google Analytics)

3.3. By purpose

a) Strictly necessary cookies

Legal basis: Legitimate interest — essential for the site to function. Consent: Not required.

These cookies enable basic site functions (security, navigation, contact form).

b) Functional cookies

Legal basis: Consent. Consent: Required.

They remember your settings (e.g. language, regional preferences) for a better experience.

c) Analytics cookies

Legal basis: Consent. Consent: Required.

They help us understand how visitors use the site (number of visits, most popular pages, time spent on the site). The data is largely anonymized.

d) Marketing cookies

Legal basis: Consent. Consent: Required.

Used to display relevant content and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.

4. List of specific cookies

The table below is an example. The actual list of cookies depends on the tools used on the site. It should be updated after implementation.

5. Third-party cookies

Our site uses third-party services that set their own cookies:

Google Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics

  • Provider: Vercel Inc., USA
  • Purpose: Visit counts and most-viewed pages
  • Cookies: none. Measurement is cookieless and does not fingerprint the browser, so it cannot be tied to an individual visitor and does not require consent.
  • Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Our own traffic measurement (Verge)

  • Provider: Verge (processed at Supabase, Inc., USA)
  • Purpose: Counting page views and visitors, and seeing which pages are read
  • Cookies: none, and it reads nothing stored on your device, so it does not require consent. Your IP address is not stored — it is used only to compute an irreversible daily digest that cannot be linked to tomorrow’s.
  • Details: Privacy Policy, section 2.3.

Cal.com

  • Provider: Cal.com, Inc., USA
  • Purpose: Booking a consultation appointment
  • Privacy Policy: cal.com/privacy

6. Managing cookies

6.1. Consent on first visit

On your first visit, a cookie banner appears where you can:

  • Accept all cookies — includes analytics and marketing
  • Reject optional cookies — only strictly necessary cookies are used

Your choice is remembered for 12 months. You can change it at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.

6.2. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

BrowserInstructions
Google Chromesupport.google.com/chrome
Mozilla Firefoxsupport.mozilla.org
Safarisupport.apple.com/safari
Microsoft Edgesupport.microsoft.com/edge
Operahelp.opera.com

6.3. What if you reject cookies?

If you reject all optional cookies:

  • The site will still work (necessary cookies remain)
  • Some functional elements (e.g. remembering settings) may not work optimally
  • Google Analytics will not load
  • Anonymous page-view counting keeps working, because it uses no cookies and reads nothing from your device — see section 2.3 of the Privacy Policy. You may object to that too.

7. Privacy policy and processing of personal data

Details about the processing of personal data collected via cookies are available in the Privacy Policy.

8. Updates to this Cookie Policy

Verge reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the website. The current version is always available on this page.
